Athens, Greece — 30 November — Mozarteum Hellas proudly announces that Rainer Heneis, CEO of the International Mozarteum Foundation, has been awarded the organisation’s highest distinction, the inaugural Medal of Mozarteum Hellas. The Board of Directors reached this decision unanimously in recognition of his distinguished and longstanding contributions to the field of classical music, as well as his dedicated and active support of Mozarteum Hellas.
The award ceremony was held in Athens on Sunday, 30 November, in an event celebrating collaboration, artistic excellence, and shared vision. Presenting the honour, Evgenia Votanopoulou, President of Mozarteum Hellas, expressed her deep appreciation, stating: “We are grateful for your tremendous help and synergy.”
Accepting the Medal of Mozarteum Hellas Rainer Heneis said: “I would like to thank the Board of Directors for the great honour of this wonderful award. The diverse work of Mozarteum Hellas to spread the fascination of Mozart in Greece complements our work perfectly and always gives us great pleasure.”
