In view of the upcoming Winter Olympic Games Milano–Cortina 2026, which will take place from 6–22 February 2026, Evgenia Votanopoulou, President of Mozarteum Hellas, proudly participated in the Greek section of the Olympic Torch Relay.

The Lighting of the Olympic Flame occurred on Wednesday, 26 November, during the traditional ceremony held in Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games.

Following her participation as a torchbearer, Mrs. Votanopoulou expressed her enthusiasm:
“Thrilled to run as a torchbearer today for the Milano–Cortina Olympics. This is a unique experience. I would like to thank the Hellenic Olympic Committee for this honor.”
