Mozarteum Hellas at the 146th Ordinary Mozart Day

The 146th Ordinary Mozart Day was held on Friday, 28 November 2025, in the historic Tanzmeistersaal of the Mozart Residence Museum in Salzburg. Mozarteum Hellas was represented by its President, Evgenia Votanopoulou (participating online), and its Secretary General, Dr. Kostas Iatrou (onsite).

During the assembly, the following co-opted Members of the Board of Trustees were elected or confirmed:

Dr. Michael Schineis

In a special segment of the meeting, Elisabeth Gutjahr, Rector of the Mozarteum University Salzburg, presented this year’s medal awardees:

• The Bernhard Paumgartner Medal was awarded to Chanhwi Kim.

• The Lilli Lehmann Medal was awarded to Anastasia Fedorenko.

The General Manager of the Mozarteum Foundation Salzburg, Dkfm. Rainer Heneis, presented the Annual Report 2024/2025, highlighting key achievements and developments.

Dr. Ulrich Leisinger followed with the presentation of an important new acquisition for the Foundation’s collections.

The assembly concluded with a performance by Mrs. Fedorenko, closing the event on a high artistic note.

Following the meeting, Dr. Iatrou held discussions with General Manager Heneis and the Director of the Mozart Museums, Linus Klumpner. The parties agreed to collaborate on a landmark event to be held in Athens in February 2026, commemorating the 270th anniversary of the birth of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
