Mozarteum Hellas participates at the 2022 Austrian-Greek Music Summer

For the second time Mozarteum Hellas participated at the 2022 Austrian-Greek Music Summer organised by the Austrian Embassy in Athens.

Zagora/ Pilion (24 July) and Kifissia Municipality (25 July) welcomed the distinguished pianist Florian Podgoreanu, Universität Mozarteum Salzburg and violinist Nina Patrikidou, Vice-President Mozarteum Hellas, in an evening of chamber music inspired by the works of W. A. Mozart and other classical masters.

The Summer season music program ended on August 30th, in the magnificent atmosphere of the medieval Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes. Nina Patrikidou and Evgenia Votanopoulou performed an array of classical sonatas by W.A. Mozart, S. Prokofiev, M. Ravel for piano and violin, and Y. Constantinidi’s Dodecanesian Suite.
The fundamental idea of the the Austrian-Greek Music Summer is the dialogue between Austrian and Greek artists. Musicians from both countries perform together in different locations around Greece.
